We will also provide a session on interview and application skills so bring along your CV to find ways to improve it.

Work Experience

Following your attendance at an Insight Day, you will have the opportunity to request a week’s work experience (subject to availability).

We hope that you will have gained a good understanding of the possible careers from the Insight Day and that you will be able to let us know which areas you are particularly interested in. This will help us align the work experience to an area that you wish to pursue so you are able to get the maximum value out of your experience.

Step 2 – Attend online Experience Skanska Insight Day to learn about careers in civil engineering, quantity surveying, mechanical & electrical building services engineering, construction management, environment, data analytics & digital technology solutions.

Step 3 – Request a week’s Work Experience by emailing

Step 4 – The Emerging Talent team will try to find a suitable placement for you based on where you live and your area of interest.
