The £95 million seven-year contract leads to a renewal of a range of FM services at the Northwood military headquarters in Hertfordshire.
Building on Skanska’s current facilities management provision at Northwood (consisting of hard and soft services across the whole estate), the contract with Eastbury Park Limited will see the elements of the services subject to mid-term review renewed for a further seven years from November 2024.
“Our team has established an excellent working relationship with the personnel who live and work at Northwood and we are delighted that our full range of facilities management services will continue for a further seven years,” said Dan Williams, Managing Director of Skanska’s facilities management business.
“Our collaborative way of working has helped us to understand the needs of our customer and deliver services that support the smooth running of the headquarters.
“We are now very much looking forward to continuing to deliver these services over the coming years.”
Northwood HQ is a UK military headquarters, which also hosts a NATO headquarters. Approximately 2,000 people work on the site and there is accommodation for around a third of those on the base.
