Contracts to provide maintenance for both Madame Tussauds and the Rock Circus in the heart of London’s tourist area are among four projects recently secured by Kvaerner Facilities Services in the capital.
Kvaerner Construction’s recently renamed company – a division of Kvaerner Rashleigh Weatherfoil – has also won contracts at Centenium House in Docklands and at Bracken House in the City.
At Madame Tussauds and Rock Circus the company has been selected to work in partnership with the in-house teams providing planned maintenance support in specialist areas; reactive and emergency call out cover; and offer a full technical project service. These one-year contracts will be co-ordinated from the company’s National Technical Help Desk at West Byfleet and supported by mobile response units.
At Centenium House Kvaerner Facilities Services has a two-year contract as the facilities maintenance contractor for the new hi-tech development. It will provide an on-site multi-skilled team, which will be supported by mobile technicians, to carry out programmed maintenance work and offer a reactive and emergency call out service. This semi-comprehensive agreement is for mechanical and electrical and public health services and includes the management of specialist sub contractors.
Finally at Bracken House, home to the Industrial Bank of Japan, a resident team has been appointed on a three-year contract to ensure the successful delivery of a full planned and reactive maintenance service and to provide emergency response, building operation and project works. The project covers mechanical and electrical and public health services, fabric maintenance and the management of key specialist sub contractors.
