Press release 13/05/2003 00:00 CET

Neil McIver, head of procurement at Skanska UK Civil Engineering and Seamus Kelly, major accounts sales director for A-Plant present cheque for £11,312 to Keith Clarke, president of the Lighthouse Club and EVP Skanska AB.

The donation has been raised via A-Plant’s Customer Loyalty Programme, specially designed for Corporate and Local Authority clients. In the scheme, companies receive points based on their annual account which can then be transferred into charitable donations or free hire options. Skanska, Gold member in the scheme, chose the donation option.

Said Neil McIver, “ Skanska has been supporting the excellent work of the Lighthouse Club for a number of years. A-Plant provides us with another way to donate to this important construction industry charity.”

Seamus Kelly said: “We are delighted that Skanska Construction has chosen to make this donation to the Lighthouse Club which is also our chosen charity. A-Plant is committed to providing customers with the best hire service in Europe and its ADVANTAGE programme complements this by giving customers the opportunity to receive something in return for placing their business with A-Plant”.
