Kvaerner cheques out the woolwich

Kvaerner Facilities Services has been awarded a comprehensive maintenance and asset management contract which covers more than 415 Woolwich PLC branches throughout the UK.

The £1.6 million deal is for mechanical, electrical and specialist maintenance - including all fire systems, public health services, doors and signage - at Woolwich’s branches in England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland.

Kvaerner Construction’s recently renamed company – a division of Kvaerner Rashleigh Weatherfoil – has a three-year contract which includes planned preventative maintenance, emergency call out and all reactive works and is being carried out through a national help desk by dedicated technicians based at Kvaerner Rashleigh Weatherfoil’s regional offices.

Paul Rogers, Kvaerner Rashleigh Weatherfoil’s executive director responsible for facilities services said: “The award of this important contract further enhances our extensive portfolio of national contracts and demonstrates our commitment to offering clients a fully integrated service from our strategically-located regional office network.”
