The redevelopment of an exclusive building in one of the West End of London’s most fashionable roads has been completed by Skanska Construction Group.
Cleveland House, situated on the corner of St James’ Square and King Street, includes 73,000 square feet of air-conditioned offices as well as six high quality residential units.
Working for City & West End Developments, Skanska Construction Group constructed the six-storey steel-framed development on piled foundations. Lightweight concrete floors and external finishes in Portland stone cladding and brickwork were also used.
Skanska Construction Group is currently working on more than £650 million worth of commercial building contracts in central London alone. This month it has started work on a £130 million project to construct Swiss Reinsurance Company’s new office building in the City of London.
