Working with seven separate London boroughs across the HS2 route into London, we’re supporting a range of initiatives to boost local economic growth, job opportunities and community cohesion, in addition to promoting work experience and curriculum focused activities in schools.
Since the start of the project, we have undertaken over 25,000 hours of schools engagement, with 85 work experience placements held. We have also supported more than 100 work placements for adults.
These activities will help to ensure that local communities are well placed to benefit from the opportunities that the project will create, while supporting the industry to deliver Britain’s future infrastructure ambitions.
