In a joint venture with Balfour Beatty, Skanska was awarded a National Highways scheme to upgrade an Essex junction of the M25.
National plan to reduce congestion
The work on Junction 30 has enhanced the motorway, where it meets the A13 at Thurrock in Essex. It forms part of a project to reduce congestion, in support of the government's national infrastructure plan.
Road users in the area is benefiting from improved journey times and a reduction in congestion.
Environmental consideration
Extensive planning and environmental consideration was given to the translocation of reptiles, great crested newts, dormice and badgers, before the main construction works commenced.
