Benefits for the community
The State Hospital provides care and treatment for patients with mental disorders who cannot be cared for in any other setting. The patients do not have access to other services or communities and therefore the hospital must address all of their needs (therapeutic, vocational, social and physical) via a range of facilities within the perimeter fence.
