Employee networks

Skanska continually works towards building and supporting a more inclusive culture, where differences are valued and individuality is embraced.

One of the ways we support this is through our influential employee network groups. These are made up of people who share similar values and work closely with senior leaders across our business to support and encourage individuals.

Ability network

Our Ability network aims to increase awareness of the many diverse abilities that people with disabilities and caring responsibilities bring. We support a diverse workforce by providing insight and support, aiming to enable everyone to achieve their very best.

Mental health and wellbeing network

This network supports Skanska's overall mental health and wellbeing strategy. Our group of over 160 mental health ambassadors and mental health first aiders provides resources to support suicide prevention, bereavement and overall health.

Military network

This network supports veterans, reservists and spouses/partners as well as championing Skanska in becoming an employer of choice for ex-armed forces personnel and their families. Our networks support an inclusive culture by educating the business about transferable skills and supporting the individual development needs of employees.

Origins Nationality Ethnicity (O.N.E) network

The purpose of the O.N.E network is for everyone to be their whole self at work; creating a safe platform for those voices and experiences to be shared. Where people have been marginalised and discriminated against because of their colour or ethnicity, it is important to give people a space where they can speak up, raise issues, challenge and change negative behaviour.

Pride network

Our Pride network exists to connect and support LGBTQ+ employees across our Skanska sites and offices, as well as supporting allies and people whose colleagues, friends and family identify as LGBTQ+. The network ensures we amplify the voices and experiences of the community to combat homophobia, biphobia and transphobia in our industry.

Womxn's network

The Womxn's network aims to provide support for all women and minority genders across the business, creating opportunities for greater connections to help build an inclusive culture, retain talent and inspire the next generation of women to enter the industry.
